Naples Capodichino International Airport (NAP) is the reference airport to reach Amalfi. It is about 70km away. From the airport you can continue by public transports (trains and buses) or by booking the shuttle service that will takes you to Amalfi.

FROM NORTH (Naples and Rome): A3 Naples – Salerno motorway > Angri Sud exit > Ravello (Via Valico di Chiunzi) > Amalfi (route recommended especially in high season because it is less busy)
Alternatively: Motorway A3 Naples – Salerno > exit Vietri sul Mare (Via Costiera Amalfitana SS.163) > Amalfi
FROM SOUTH (Salerno): Motorway A2 Salerno – Reggio Calabria > exit Nocera Inferiore > Chiunzi Pass >Amalfi
Alternatively: Motorway A2 Salerno – Reggio Calabria > exit Vietri Sul Mare > SS. 163 Amalfi Coast >Amalfi
BY TRAIN
The nearest train station is Salerno at about 40km (not Vietri sul Mare); Naples is about 70km away.
Continue to Amalfi by bus (SitaSud) or ferry (recommended)
BY BUS OR FERRY FROM SALERNO
The public transport service on the Amalfi Coast is carried out by the company Sita Sud, which also operates connections to Naples and Salerno.
