Amalfi

the Amalfi Coast takes its name from this town which was the first of the four Maritime republics. Amalfi was considered a power in commercial traffic with the East due to its natural outlet to the Valle dei Mulini. As soon as you arrive on the spot you are greeted by the white houses set in the rock as if they were diamonds, connected to each other by suggestive stairways and covered alleys. The most important place is the square where the Cathedral of Sant’Andrea is located with the bell tower and the Cloister of Paradise.
