It can be easily reached on foot from Amalfi or from the small medieval village of Pontone, in Scala’s municipality. here there are waterfalls and paths, which make the environment very cool even in the middle of summer. The most interesting part of the valley is undoubtedly constituted by the Oriented Natural Risev, which houses a very rare testimony in Italy of the preglacial flora, which only here and in areas such as the Vallone Porto of Positano, has been able to see its moisture needs met.
